Los comparativos de igualdad se forman en inglés poniendo delante la palabra as seguida del adjetivo correspondiente más otra vez as. Significan en español tan .... como.
Example
This boy is as tall as that girl.
La mesa es más larga que la estanteria.

La mesa es tan larga como la estanteria.
The table is as long as the bookcase.
